This recipe makes enough marinade for 2 servings.
3 cloves garlic
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Mash the garlic with a mortar and pestle, or press it through a garlic press to make it into a smooth paste. Add the cumin, lime juice, oregano and pepper. Use this mixture to marinate chicken, turkey or pork in the refrigerator for several hours prior to cooking.
