1 cup butter (or 1/2 marg + 1/2 crisco)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 sifted cups of flour (all-purpose)
6 oz bag (1 cup) chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Cream
buter, brown sugar and vanilla together; then add the flour and
mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pat into ungreased
10 x 15 pan (or a round pizza pan or cookie sheet.)
Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350.
Cut into bars while still warm. Cool on waxed paper. Store in airtight
can.
