GRAMMA BERNIE'S FRIED NOODLES

1 bag wide egg noodles
6-8 slices of bread-toasted- then cut into cubes
2-3 TBsp Poppy seeds
4 TBsps butter/margarine, more or less


Boil the noodles as directed. After they are boiled and drained well, you can melt the butter in a skillet on med/low. Toss in the cubes of toast and 'fry' them til golden brown and start to get crispy. Now toss in the noodles and sprinkle in the poppy seeds, and continue tossing all together......may add a little more butter if needed. Serve with the crispy cubes.........and great with the pork tenderloin!

Gramma made it perfectly.and we'd have her wilted lettuce from the garden with this for a great summer meal! Yum!
