BANANA NUT BREAD

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp salad oil
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 - 3 mashed ripe bananas
1 cup chopped nuts


Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 8 x 4x2 1/2 loaf pans. (I use 2 1 lb coffee cans.) Measure all ingredients in large bowl. Beat on medium speed 1/2 minute, scraping bowl contstantly.

Pour into pans. Bake 55 - 65 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. remove from pans and cool.
